GoMeddo allows you to check contacts in or out with two buttons on the Reservation Contact record page.
1. Go to the Reservation record page
From the calendar, there are two ways to get to the Reservation Contact record page:
Hover over a reservation, and click View in Salesforce at the bottom of the hover window.
Click on a reservation, and then click View in Salesforce at the bottom of the reservation form.
2. Go to the Reservation Contact record page
Once you are on the Reservation page, click on the Related tab and find the contact that you want to check in. Click on that contact to go to their Reservation Contact record page.
3. Check the contact in
On the Reservation Contact record page, use the Check In button at the top to check the contact in. A modal will appear allowing you to enter the date and time that the contact has checked in. For convenience, the current time has already been entered.
On clicking save, you will be taken back to the record page, and the time you selected will have been filled in the Check In Datetime field.
4. Check the contact out
To check the contact out, use the Check Out button at the top. Just as with a check-in, the current time will have been already selected for you, but can be changed to a different time.
On clicking save, you will be taken back to the record page, and the time you selected will have been filled in the Check Out Datetime field.
Some actions are not allowed, and you will get an error when clicking save. For example, you can’t check out a contact that hasn’t been checked in yet. Likewise, you can’t enter a check-out time that is earlier than the check-in time.
